Introducing my new online video workshops.
The reason I am doing classes like this is so that you can take your own time and follow along as and when you like, you are not restricted to specific times, no homework, and since you have access to this page for as long as you need to, you can refer back as many times as you like.
In the strange and unprecedented times during the Coronavirus pandemic it is impossible to do face to face workshops, or travel around to do so, but today's technology allows us to take several different approaches according to what suits us best. Not everyone is able to commit to specific dates and times but would still like to take a class online. So instead of running live Zoom classes which are very popular, I wanted to cater for all those who perhaps can't commit to schedules or are living in different time zones. As changes are forced upon us all this is a way we can continue to pass on our skills, love of beading and designs for all to enjoy in the comfort of our own homes. Unlike general You-Tube videos, these videos cover much more detail over several videos for each class, and you have the opportunity to ask me questions if you are stuck, or need help with certain points as we all do from time to time, either via the comments boxes under the videos or via the contact form on this site, or email me direct, the email address is on the back sheet of your pattern.
Here's how it will work (I hope).
You purchase the workshop. Once paid you will then be able to download the pattern file, which gives your bead list, materials list, and detailed diagrams, written instructions and some photos. Most importantly the pattern file contains a link to the video workshop itself.
There are three parts to this workshop. Each part shows the relevant section of the pattern booklet you will already have downloaded, and one to two videos, between 15 and 30 minutes each, showing in detail the process for making the box.
Under each video will be a comments box. If you have any questions or you are stuck, just send a comment under the appropriate video. I will do my best to answer as quickly as possible once notification is received. As I am in UK, different time zones may require a little patience but I will answer as soon as I can to clear up any problems. Alternatively use the contact form on this site from the menu at the top of your screen, or email me direct, using the email on the back sheet of the pattern file.
But the best part of all is you do not need to 'keep up' with others. You do not need to schedule. You have no 'homework'. You are free to do this in your own time, at your own pace, whenever and wherever you like. You will always have access to the workshop you purchased, so you can refer back over and over again. So enjoy your beading, ask for help if you need it, and just have fun!
