LUCERNA ORNAMENT VIDEO WORKSHOP.
Welcome to my video class for the Lucerna Christmas Ornament. Here you will learn how to stitch with circular and peyote stitch, increasing and decreasing stitches where needed, and a square bezel for a rivoli, and all the finishing touches.
The reason I am doing classes like this is so that you can take your own time and follow along as and when you like, you are not restricted to specific times, no homework, and since you have access to this page for as long as you need to, you can refer back as many times as you like.
In the strange and unprecedented times during the Coronavirus pandemic it is impossible to do face to face workshops, or travel around to do so, but today's technology allows us to take several different approaches according to what suits us best. Not everyone is able to commit to specific dates and times but would still like to take a class online.
Here's how it will work (I hope).
There are three parts to this class, as you can see below. Each part shows the relevant section of the pattern booklet you will already have downloaded, and two videos, about 20-25 minutes each, showing in detail the process for making the box.
Under each video will be a comments box. If you have any questions or you are stuck, just send a comment. I will do my best to answer as quickly as possible once notification is received. As I am in UK, different time zones may require a little patience but I will answer as soon as I can to clear up any problems.
So, just click on the headings below and it will take you to a new window where you can watch the video and work at your own pace, and best of all, have fun.
